The Kokoon story: from behind the scenes into plain sight
For years, Kokoon was built behind the scenes, where no one could see it. Watch the film or read the full story: how it began small on Gran Canaria, and how more than six hundred owners stand behind it today.

Kokoon.
Imagine a place where people come to get healthier, stay strong as they grow older, and leave with a smile. A big, happy place that takes care of people and helps build up the world. That is Kokoon.
We believe healthcare has been heading the wrong way for years. Care is sold in pieces. Systems were built for a shorter life, and old networks protect themselves. Our founder has challenged that for more than thirty years, and more than sixty team leaders stand with him. We don't fight the system. We build the alternative: a movement with no middlemen between people and their care.
Kokoon was not built overnight. It grew out of our founder's many years in nutrition and sports medicine, and it began small, here on Gran Canaria. Since then, large teams have worked on it year after year, many of them with us from the very beginning. They refined every detail and built a network of key people in thirty-four countries. It happened behind the scenes, where people could not see it. Many told us they heard us talking but never saw anything move. Now they can. The first result stands in Arguineguín, in the south of Gran Canaria. It is our prototype in the real world, the first part of our creation that people can see and walk into. Our first two Kokoon Advanced Wellness Clinics are in prime locations, and we own them; we don't rent. We bought the most expensive properties ever sold in the area and stripped them inside and out to the bare structure. Then we rebuilt everything to the highest standard, with stone façades, built to need no full renovation for twenty-five years or more. The larger clinic is on a pedestrian street. Our first clinic opens this month, and the larger one follows at the end of the month or early next month.
Advanced Wellness means medical care and wellness together, under one roof, done properly. The first services open now, and medical care follows once the local licence is in place.
Our grandfathers were farmers and fishermen. They sold what they produced to buy the tractor and build the house, with no mortgage on the land. We believe the world was taught that it needs mortgages, and that took away people's freedom. Kokoon brings that freedom back, and that is what makes us solid.
So Kokoon builds without bank loans, and no bank decides our future. That means the full amount must be in place: a ten-million house needs ten million, not two million and a loan. Our homes are planned the same way, paid for by selling them, not by pledging them. The world's biggest developers pre-sell whole towers in days. We do the same, but the money comes from ordinary people we know. The profit is shared by many people, not a few super-rich and their banks.
Our plan is three hundred Advanced Wellness Clinics in three hundred cities, built with local people, for local people. Members before bricks. Each city proves itself first, through pre-sold lifetime memberships and local owners. So each clinic after Arguineguín is planned to open with all its equipment in place and fully booked, because the marketing is done upfront. Arguineguín is different. It fills step by step as its equipment arrives: two machines, fully booked; ten machines, fully booked; until every room is filled. Selling first is hard work, but we believe that is what a successful business does. It is also safer for our owners: we don't gamble with their money.

When a city's lifetime members say yes, they know for sure: the building is ours, owned one hundred per cent. There is no debt on the building or the equipment. Every clinic that opens adds income on top. A thousand people open every door. Membership is for care; it is not a share in Kokoon.
And the equipment is the newest in the world, built to work with superintelligence. Technology is moving so fast that the next twelve months will change the game, so we don't buy everything at once. We renew it with every big leap: you can't buy equipment once and keep it for five years. Some of what we buy is so new that it is not even in production yet. Our first equipment arrives in the coming weeks, paid for in cash. That is why Arguineguín begins with a soft opening, a quiet start before the full launch. If it takes six to eight months to fill Arguineguín, that is the time it takes: we don't waste money on old technology. Every clinic is planned to run on robots, and no supplier owns a slice of Kokoon.
Kokoon Prime Living, our homes for later life, takes the same idea home: homes with clinic, care and kitchen in the same building. A place to grow older happy and in shape, with friends to train with, eat with and laugh with, instead of living alone. The need is real. Norway's older people will need about 295,000 new homes by 2040. Kokoon Prime Living Norway plans 30,200, first for people who can buy their own home. In the United States we plan about 100,000 high-end homes, starting in Miami, Florida, and spreading over the ten largest cities. The US is expected to be short of more than half a million senior homes by 2030 and over a million by 2035. About two million American households aged 55 and over have more than five million dollars, so our 100,000 is a small share of that. The rest of Europe has the same need. The UK alone needs about 50,000 new senior homes a year and builds fewer than 8,000. Spain is expected to be 140,000 care beds short by 2030. Norway and the United States are where it starts, not the whole plan. When Kokoon Prime Living Norway pre-sells its homes, that is the proof for homes, and the rest of the world follows.
Food is at the heart of Kokoon Prime Living. Our residents get the best food on the planet, sourced locally. It is grown the original way: straight from local farmers and the sea, with no poison and no antibiotics, and fields that change crops and rest. Food and nutrition are the original medicine. Chemical medicine is the newcomer, the real alternative. The world turned that upside down, and we are turning it back.

Beyond the clinics and the homes, our flagships, our biggest projects, carry the whole idea. On Gran Canaria we plan the Kokoon Medical Resort: a seven-star medical hotel and surgical centre on the south of the island, facing the Atlantic. The Atlantic is the reason. The island sits where Europe, Africa and the Americas meet. From one runway, a sample, a surgeon or a patient can reach the whole of Europe, West Africa and the US East Coast. That is why our stem-cell vault belongs here, built not for one resort but for samples from every Kokoon clinic in the network. In Greece, on Crete, we plan the Kokoon sport resort: training fields, a sports centre and sports medicine, side by side. In Miami we plan our large Medical Resort for the Americas, on the water, making its own drinking water and energy. And in Africa, private landowners in Mauritania have promised us land in a large desert area. When the funds are in place, we plan to bring water from the sea there, using what we have learned from studying the best desalination and energy technology on the planet. We also plan to grow herbs there and produce supplements and nutrition on a large scale. It all moves forward together, as each piece is ready.
Who owns Kokoon? More than six hundred people today. Ownership is by invitation only: family, friends and friends of friends, anywhere in the world. We know every owner by name, and we have said no many times. Invited, never advertised. Kokoon is built to belong to millions of small owners in time. Each of them has a reason to look after it, and to care about good health.
Many people believe they need a rich man or a billionaire beside them to make something big happen. We don't. The Kokoon way is to do it ourselves, together. A team that works together can do more than any billionaire has done, and how fast we grow depends on how fast people join us. There is no room for free riders in Kokoon. Every owner takes responsibility and plays a part in sharing Kokoon with others.
Companies everywhere pay people for introductions; it's nothing new. Kokoon does this too, for friends who become owners. It never costs the new owner a cent more, and Kokoon still meets and approves every owner.
And when Kokoon earns, its owners share in it. A quarter of all of Kokoon's net income, what is left after all costs and taxes, is set aside to buy back shares. We start with our earliest owners, with the aim of paying up to three times what they paid. The pace follows the clinics: how fast each city reaches at least one thousand members, and how fast the newest equipment comes to market. There is no fixed date. We want owners who are in it for the long haul, not short-term money. So from next year, 2027, every owner is planned to receive a regular dividend from our income, small at first and growing as Kokoon grows.
Along the way, people told us it was impossible. They misunderstood the whole picture. We never said it was easy. We say it will be done. The hardest work is done: building the global network and creating the right product took time. Now the easier part starts. We don't need new investors. Kokoon and its owners paid for our prototype in Arguineguín, and the membership sales we started in the summer are now paying for its equipment.
Some things will not go as planned; that is how new things work. We learn, adjust the course and do it better. You only fail if you give up. We keep going, get one step better every time, and never stop believing in what we are building. We are not just talking about it. We're doing it. And to every new entrepreneur who has been told by people around them, even their own family, that they shouldn't do it: close your eyes to it. Get up again, and never, ever give up.
We do not promise miracles. We promise to build it right, and to put the body first. We are in this to make it happen, and there is a place for you in it.
Kokoon. Every door ours. Every day yours.
